Page 1 of 2 CJ - consumptionjunction.com used to be a place where you could see screwed up internet stuff, videos, pictures, jokes, etc. and seemed to be run by a legit crew with dedicated fans. Now they have some "age verification system" in place that states it will not charge your credit card, but just use it to make sure you are 18 years of age. They charged the card with a bunch of small $1.xx charges, then a day or so later there were 3 international charges at .04 cents, then two other charges for $39 and $44. The charges were by various dot com companies such as CS365247.COM, PAY-ESITE-ME
M.COM, PAY-CCPLOGISTICS.COM, PAY-MEDIAVENTLTD.COM. I've contacted my bank and am filing fraud claims against these, but this is just completely irritating and a waste of my time. Consumptionjunction is now a full scam site with nothing legitimate. webjtcharge.com is their credit card company and they claim none of the businesses listed are theirs.

I went to consumptionjuction.com and they asked for age verifaction, and the drivers license info could not be confirmed, like an idiot i entered my credit card info and now i have been charged over $ 120.00 in bogus fees from various other sites that i did not sign up for. I will have to contact my bank on monday to have the charges removed and probably have a replacement card sent. i am furious.

I posted this originally and if it makes anyone feel better, the bank did refund the charges with the stipulation that the fraud department get 90 days to investigate. It's been 90 days and I still have my money back, at least the big chunks, I didn't care about the odd under a dollar charges really, but it *** having to cancel a bank card. Good luck to anyone sucked by these fraudsters.

Consumption Junction got me too. I've been dealing with this for months now. I've canceled this three times and everytime they tell me its a differenent company charging me $39. Its pure crap! I'm now going to change my card and find out how to never get charged by these companies again.

I also fell for a similar site this morning, CLIENT2U.com and membersaccess.com. Thought it was for Dude Tube(A site my boyfriend told me about, I thought it was ligitament), ended up being a complete scam. It asked for my credit card Info... I entered it in, instantly noticed that it was a scam. I reported my card stolen right away. I then did some research on thier sites. I found that this has been going on for quite a while. Luckly my bank contacted me and I only got charged 3 one dollar charges(from different sites within 15 MINUTES!) have been put on my account. They were trying to varify if my card worked. So everyone be careful, do your homework on a site before making a purchase!
